Green Alternatives

Corrugated and related kraft paper products provide optimum cushioning and protection, are extremely lightweight, and are an economical and environmentally friendly alternative to plywood and Styrofoam.

Hexacomb® kraft honeycomb is versatile, light and amazingly strong. The die cut honeycomb provides a custom environment for any product. It protects vital parts and assemblies, holds bulky items in place and is less costly and less labor intensive.

Blocking and Bracing

The HEX 700™ Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) replacement panels feature honeycomb technology, a unique, no-crumble design in which paper ribbons are glued together to form a core of hexagonal cells faced on both sides. Available in identical thicknesses to EPS -- 0.5" to 4.0

Void Fill and Dunnage

HEX 300™ and HEX 400™ triplewall and plywood replacement panels come in the same standard dimensions as plywood and triplewall panels at a fraction of the weight.

Shipping

A lightweight alternative to wood and plastic, Hexacomb pallets, blocks, runners and decks are less costly and fully customizable. The honeycomb core creates a strong, lightweight foundation. The vertical cell orientation allows the deck to handle heavy loads with no loss of strength. The components can be combined with corrugated trays, bin boxes or POP displays.

Innovative Cushion-Comb® Protects Your Products

An innovative Hexacomb® product called Cushion-Comb® provides superior cushioning properties and will not break or crumble like alternative products.

The patented cushion-comb is created through a process of pre-crushing Hexacomb paper honeycomb to allow for optimum cushioning. Repeatable cushion curves allow for consistent protection.

The material is completely recyclable with standard disposal methods. It is also a suitable replacement for molded EPS and PE foam.

HexaBlok™

HexaBlok components are ideal for one-way shipping applications. The components are more durable than EPS, built-up corrugated and corrugated wrapped alternatives. A patent-pending innovation, HexaBlok components deliver the side-impact strength needed to defend your shipments against rough handling by forklifts. At the same time, HexaBlok components are feather light -- a benefit that translates into ease of handling and lower shipping costs.

Runners can be custom-cut – without special tools – to block lengths that match your bins and containers. Blocks and runners can then be applied with standard PSAs, hotmelts or glues. HexaBlok's remarkable structural strength is capable of supporting the heaviest of loads. It is also safe, clean, recyclable and easily customizable.
