| Service Container offers Redi-Made corrugated
boxes that can be ordered “off-the-shelf” for product
protection, storing and transporting.
However, many products need added protection--to prevent
loose pieces from moving in the carton or for fragile
items that must withstand the rigors of cross-country shipping.
Service Container’s design team is experienced in
created boxes and partitions that protect a variety of
products. From brass lights to MRI units to computers to
pest control products…we have designed containers
that protect them all.
- Regular Slotted Containers (RSC Boxes)
This is the most commonly used corrugated box because
it offers maximum versatility. All flaps are the same
length. The outer flaps always meet, and the inner
flaps meet on square cartons. The RSC can have a glued,
taped or stitched corner seam. Flute direction usually
runs parallel to the depth as this provides good stacking
strength.
A variation of the RSC, the Full Overlap Carton's
(FOL) outer flaps overlap which makes it unusually
resistant to rough handling. The FOL box design enables
it to be stacked on its side because of the extra
corrugated board on the top and bottom panels. This
box style provides good protection against rough
handling and is often the choice style when the width
of the box is narrow relative to the length of the
box.
We ship the boxes in the dimensions you desire,
flat, and you can quickly assemble them as need with
tape, glue or staples.
-
HSC: Half Slotted Container
Same as a Regular Slotted Container, without
one set of flaps, open on top or bottom.
Can be used
with a cover or can use two, one with open
top and one with open bottom for full telescope.
-
Bookfolds/OPF
Boxes
Bookfolds
These cardboard bookfold boxes are excellent
for catalogs, books and binders as they
are scored at
various depths for versatility. This is ideal
if you ship products that vary slightly
in depth due
to the contents, such as binders.
One Piece Folder (OPF)
Because of its simple, folder-style design,
this One Piece Folder box is extremely easy
to use. Provides
a flat bottom with flaps forming sides and
ends. Just tape to close the end.
Bookfolds
and OPFs are commonly used to ship books, binders,
literature and other printed
materials,
videocassettes, records, magnetic tapes, diskettes
and other materials.
-
FPF: Five Panel Folder
A scored piece featuring a fifth panel used
as closing flap completely covering one
side panel. Provides
stacking strength and protection for long
products with small diameters.
-
Tele Top & Bottom
Two separate scored and slotted sheets that
fit over each other. If the cover extends
at least two-thirds
of the depth it is considered a full telescope.
If the cover extends less than two-thirds
of depth it is considered a box with cover.
The ends of
the trays need to be glued or stapled.
-
Micro-flute
containers
These containers offer high quality graphic
printing capabilities, excellent structural
integrity and
cost savings. Single wall and double
wall board strengths provide superior
stiffness advantages
over chipboard containers. In many
instances eliminating the need for master
cartons traditionally used
to ship chipboard boxes.
-
Cleat Boxes
These boxes contain reinforcing cleats across
the top of the box, making them ideal for
fragile items.
-
Microcosm Tack Boards
For shipping and handling of springs and other products. Product features a
tacky or sticky side that holds the components in place preventing,
scratching or damage to delicate parts. Five different levels of tack
available to meet your needs. Boards are typically 11-7/8" x 11-7/8", but
can also be tailored to your specifications.
-
Hexacomb®

protection from the inside out. The environmentally-friendly
kraft paper construction provides
superior cushion
and protection. Shaped, cut or
